Liquat BTMS 7550RY is a behenyl (C22) cationic quaternary ammonium salt conditioning emulsifier. It exhibits excellent thickening effects, imparting a rich and substantial texture to the cream of emulsified formulations. As a C22 trimethylammonium methosulfate, it is more hydrophobic in nature. Compared with conventional C18 quaternary ammonium salts, it enables the cationic positively charged ends and lipids to deposit on hair more easily, thereby providing superior conditioning performance.
Meanwhile, its hydrophobic property and deposition behavior endow the product with outstanding dry hair combability. It delivers excellent conditioning effects without the need for deposition with other polymeric quaternary compounds, offering high convenience in formulation application. Serving as a basic emulsifier and conditioner, it finds wide applications in hair care and skin care products.
