HY-708 is a kind of highly purified, remodeled and organically modified bentonite of which the raw material is a natural calcium bentonite. It is mainly used in low and medium polar solvents, such as paints, inks and other products.

HY-708 can disperse at normal temperature. It is recommended to be used as a pre-gel, added before grinding your products (such as paints, pigments, coatings). High-shearing devices provide the best dispersion effect.
HY-708 requires a polar activator for full dispersion. Recommended activators include propylene carbonate, methanol/water (95/5), ethanol/water (95/5), or acetone. The proper amount is generally 20 ~ 30% of the organic bentonite weight.
Recommended Dosage: Usually 0.2 ~ 3.0% of the entire formulation by weight.
The package consists of an external package (brown paper bag) and an internal package (polyethylene film bag). Valve bags are also available, with standard weights of 25 ± 0.25Kg. Custom packaging is available upon request.
Storage conditions: If stored in a dry location and kept sealed within temperatures of 0 to 30 °C, the organic bentonite remains effective for 36 months.
